The undergraduate business program at Marquette University remains one of the top programs in the country, according to Bloomberg BusinessWeek. The College of Business Administration’s overall rank improved slightly from 69 to 68, and the academic quality rank also improved from 40 to 31.
Business Plan Competition has record year
The Marquette Business Plan Competition, now in its ninth year, attracted 52 entrants for 2011, the most in the contest’s history. Of those 52, 20 were social ventures. The competition last year added a separate category for businesses with a focus on addressing a societal need.
