Three supply chain management students were honored with academic scholarships at The Logistics Council’s monthly Milwaukee roundtable meeting. Each year, this local not-for-profit transportation and logistics association awards academic scholarships to five or six undergraduate students in accredited degree programs in Wisconsin colleges and universities who are pursuing a supply chain management degree and career.

The 2012 Marquette recipients are:

Jacob Hansen, sophomore.  Double major in supply chain management and international business. Plans to study abroad at The University of Deusto in San Sebastian, Spain, during spring 2013.

John Krenik, senior.  Double major in supply chain management and international business. Studied abroad at Tongji University in Shanghai, China. Internship experience with General Mills, S.C. Johnson and MillerCoors.

Kristin Thornton, junior. Double major in supply chain management and marketing. Internship experience with Milwaukee Bucks and Target.

The Logistics Council, Milwaukee Roundtable, is a not-for-profit association of supply chain professionals in the greater Milwaukee area focused on providing educational seminars and facility tours each month.
