Marketing undergrad, McNair Scholar to present research

Undergraduate marketing student Larry A. Whitley will present his research as part of the Ronald E. McNair Scholars Program at the 21st Annual McNair Undergraduate Research Symposium, which will be held July 27-28.

Whitley's research, which was conducted under the guidance of faculty mentor Dennis Garrett, associate professor of marketing, is titled, "The $12 Billion Question: A case study regarding the impact of celebrity endorsers on brand performance." An abstract of his study is available online.

Poster presentations will be held Wednesday, July 27, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in AMU 163. On Thursday, July 28, the oral presentations will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in Cudahy Hall, followed by a reception.
