Economics professor Hanson elected to national board Dr. Andrew Hanson, associate professor of economics, was recently elected to the board of directors for the National Tax Association, the leading association of tax professionals dedicated to advancing understanding of the theory and practice of public finance. The NTA has a diverse membership that brings together tax professionals from academia, government and business.
Hanson is a long-standing member of the NTA, and has been active in the association as part of its chair of student initiatives and on the annual conference program committee. His three-year term begins in November.
