EMBA alumna named executive director of nation’s largest youth orchestra

Linda Edelstein, a 2011 executive MBA alumna, has been named executive director of the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra, the largest youth orchestra in the United States. She leaves her role as the chief operating officer for the United Performing Arts Fund.
In addition to her EMBA, Edelstein holds a Master of Music from Yale University and a bachelor’s degree in music performance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She was an Irving S. Gilmore Fellow at Yale and currently performs as an oboist and English hornist with Milwaukee's Present Music. She has also worked as a music faculty member at UW-Whitewater, UW-Oshkosh, Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, Hartland Music Center, Yale University and in a private studio.
