ManpowerGroup CEO Jeff Joerres to deliver keynote address at annual Business Leaders Forum

MILWAUKEE – Jeff Joerres, chairman and chief executive officer of ManpowerGroup (NYSE: MAN), will deliver the keynote speech at Marquette University College of Business Administration’s annual Business Leaders Forum luncheon Friday, Feb. 17, 2012, in the ballroom of the Alumni Memorial Union, 1442 W. Wisconsin Ave. Joerres’ presentation is open to the public. Registration is available online. The cost of the luncheon is $40 per person. Corporate tables of eight are available for $400.

Joerres graduated from the College of Business Administration in 1983 and has been a Marquette University trustee since 2000. He joined ManpowerGroup in 1993 and has led a transformation of the organization’s business strategy, adding new business lines that have expanded the company’s ability to assist clients and candidates in navigating the changing world of work.

Joerres has advised domestic and foreign governments about how to transform their labor markets to compete in the global economy. In 2010, Joerres testified at a hearing of the U.S. Congress Joint Economic Committee focused on policies to foster economic growth, recommending solutions to drive job creation.

Established in 1999, the Business Leaders Forum is a speaker series sponsored by Marquette University’s College of Business Administration. The forum provides a setting for nationally recognized business leaders to engage in discussions and interact with students, faculty and local business leaders. The program enables Marquette to build practical knowledge into its rigorous business curriculum, exploring current trends, issues and practices in business.
