Alumnus Roberts elected to university’s Board of Trustees

Scott A. Roberts, a 1985 Marquette Business alumnus, has been elected to the Marquette University Board of Trustees, the university announced Dec. 9. In the investment management business for more than 25 years, Roberts serves as president, CEO and chairman of Ziegler Lotsoff Capital Management.
Prior to joining Ziegler Lotsoff, he was president and CIO of Deerfield Capital Management, where he was responsible for all investment management, marketing and operational activities for the firm. He has also served in investment management roles at Zurich Investment Management, Centre Investment Services, Loomis Sayles and Putnam Investments.
Roberts serves on the board of directors of several of the firms with which he has worked, including Centre Cat, Centre Investment Services, Zurich Investment Management, Liberty Hampshire, Deerfield Capital and Ziegler Lotsoff. He also serves on the board of directors of Catholic Charities of Chicago and Marquette University High School, and is an emeritus board member at Nativity Jesuit Middle School in Milwaukee.
Roberts received an MBA in finance and investments from the Applied Security Analysis Program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is a member of the Marquette University President’s Society.
