Finance student defies the odds
June 02, 2011
A week before his senior year, Marquette finance and marketing student Adam Rilott broke his neck in a car accident and was deemed a quadriplegic.
"The doctors were preparing me for life in a wheelchair. It really wasn't something I was willing to accept," said Rilott.
So he did his research and connected with a rehabilitation center in California, specializing in spinal injuries.
On May 22, 2011, he walked across the stage at graduation.
