Marquette Center for Supply Chain Management seeks participants for ISM-Milwaukee index survey on area manufacturing activity

MILWAUKEE – The Center for Supply Chain Management in Marquette University’s College of Business Administration is seeking participants for the monthly Institute for Supply Management – Milwaukee “Report on Business.” The center assumed responsibility for the survey, data analysis and report distribution from ISM-Milwaukee in June 2011 and is looking to expand its data set.
The report, which is based on a survey of area manufacturers, provides valuable commentary on the current state of the local economy, which is of interest to the local business community and Wall Street analysts seeking regional information not covered by the ISM’s national survey, according to Dr. Doug Fisher, director of the Center for Supply Chain Management.
“To increase the value of this report, we’d like to encourage local manufacturing firms to participate in the monthly survey,” Fisher said. “The survey itself takes about 10 to 15 minutes each month, and each participate receives a copy of the final report, which gives firms a glimpse into the local trends moving their industry.”
Manufacturing companies in the southeastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois regions who wish to participate in and/or receive the monthly reports can register online or contact Beth Krey, assistant director of the Center for Supply Chain Management, at (414) 288-6386 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
