Building on our commitment to academic excellence, we focus on providing innovative applied learning experiences in and out of the classroom. Applied learning puts the student at the center of his or her own learning, brings the business world into the classroom and puts the student into the business environment, and uses a variety of interactive learning strategies. In partnership with business, applied learning provides the students with opportunities to apply what they are learning in the classroom to business and in business settings. Our commitment to applied learning means that we prepare our students for a successful professional career and a lifetime of learning.
The goal is to graduate undergraduate students who can add value to their organizations “from day one” because they have experienced their chosen profession within a business setting, made professional decisions and received feedback on those decisions, and interacted with professionals in the field.
