Associate Professor of Finance


Dr. Peck’s has published in the Journal of Financial Economics and the Journal of Corporate Finance, as well as other journals in finance and accounting. Her most recent work has been on the causes and consequences of outside director resignations.

She is currently writing a book on Investment Ethics to be published by Wiley. The book has a strong applied focus covering such topics as fiduciary duty, performance reporting, trading, and information use. The book includes the integration of ethics into investment analysis via examination of accounting practices, board structure, CEO compensation contracts, and corporate social responsibility. She also has written ethics cases for the CFA® Institute.

She serves as a trustee for the Milwaukee County Pension Board and is Chair of the Investment Committee.
