Marketing

Undergraduate

Whether you are looking for a career as a market analyst, marketing researcher, sales or account manager, our dedicated faculty will help you develop the tools that will prepare to be a socially responsible leader poised for a successful career.

Our graduates are recruited by leading employers in the region and the nation, Kohl’s Department Stores, Harley-Davidson, Londonberry Marketing, Bon Ton, Direct Supply, the Milwaukee Brewers, and many more.

A Well-Rounded Curriculum

Our major requires knowledge of basic marketing concepts, the study, use and ability to interpret marketing research, and an overview of marketing objectives, policies and strategies for an organization.

Students complete the major with three electives in any field within Marketing. We also offers a minor that provides basic concepts in marketing to students from majors outside of the College of Business Administration.

Applied Learning

Students have many opportunities to enhance their classroom knowledge with applied learning experiences. Students can also join the Marquette-ing Club, a group that provides opportunities students to network with and learn from marketing professionals.

The Marketing Department organizes an annual marketing roundtable that brings students and high-level marketing executives from various industries together for a one-day discussion on trends and marketing strategies.

Our majors can also take part in full semester internships with accounting firms and organizations, and all students in the college have the opportunity to participate in our formal mentoring program.
