The Department of Management covers all aspects of management, and gives you the knowledge and experience you need to hone your management skills and jump-start your career. Our faculty of dedicated scholars will facilitate your professional development so that you can develop your expertise in any of the following areas:
- Entrepreneurship (ENTP)
- Human Resource Management (HURE)
- Information Technology (INTE)
- Operations and Supply Chain Management (OSCM)
Students in each major have many opportunities to build their business acumen, and learn from working professionals as well as our faculty. Many activities are offered to complement your coursework and set you apart from the competition.
Information Technology and Operations and Supply Chain students participate in a large professional networking event with dozens of professionals from area firms. Human Resource students participate in the Society of Human Resource Management sponsored human resources games. Entrepreneurship students compete in the annual business plan competition. And of course all students in the college have the opportunity to participate in our formal mentoring program with Marquette business alumni and friends, and to find internship opportunities.
Management majors are prepared to excel in any industry.
Our students are recruited by leading employers in the region and the nation, including GE Healthcare, Accenture and Price Waterhouse Coopers (IT), Rockwell Automation, Harley-Davidson and Direct Supply (OSCM), and Manpower, Kohler, and American Express (HR).
