Academics: Management

Do you have what it takes to lead a company, or start your own company? How do you effectively manage a company’s people, systems and customers? You will have an excellent insight into how to answer those questions if you complete a degree from the Department of Management in the College of Business Administration.

We offer challenging courses in a variety of areas: entrepreneurship, human resources, information technology, operations and supply chain management, organizational behavior, leadership and motivation, strategic management, the environment of business and other disciplines in business.

Our dynamic coursework is combined with applied learning experiences like internships or service learning projects to build socially aware, global business leaders.

Undergraduate students can choose from one of four majors: Entrepreneurship, Human Resource Management, Information Technology, and Operations and Supply Chain Management.

The Department of Management is involved in graduate business education as part of the Graduate School of Management. Students can earn their Master of Science in Human Resources or complete a specialization in Management of Information Systems, Operations and Supply Chain Management or Human Resources as part of their MBA. Our most recent addition to graduate business education is a Certificate Program in Entrepreneurship.
