Economics Faculty
Our 14 full-time faculty, all with Ph.D. degrees, leverage their expertise, passion for their subjects and core belief in cura personalis (care for the whole person) to stimulate student interest and put them in touch with both the theory and reality of today’s dynamic business environment. Our faculty members are active applied scholars who publish in top peer-reviewed journals in their fields such as Review of Economics and Statistics, Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, Southern Economic Journal, Public Choice, Journal of Economic Geography, Review of International Economics, Kyklos, Economic Inquiry and many others. They have a strong global perspective, with several faculty having studied and taught on Fulbright fellowships. The department also has a very strong commitment to teaching, and indeed, three faculty members have been honored with the Marquette University Teaching award which is given to the elite teachers in the university.
