Kohler Center at Marquette sharpens focus on startups
In the last year-and-a-half, the Kohler Center for Entrepreneurship at Marquette has launched a business incubator and collaborative working space, lunch-and-learn sessions and a program allowing students to work at a startup founded by a Marquette graduate. It will host its first "entrepreneur faculty fellow" this fall and is looking to do more collaboration with other Marquette departments.

Salvation Army gets 'virtual' red kettle

94Labs, of Madison and Milwaukee, staged the Social Cause Hackathon in conjunction with Marquette University and the winning app was the one created for the Salvation Army: a virtual red kettle.
