Center for Supply Chain Management

Industry-Sponsored Research

Applied research is an important area for the program and we are always looking into developing new opportunities for the Center for Supply Chain Management.

ISM-Milwaukee

The center is administering and compiling data for the monthly “Report on Business survey”. The local chapter of the Institute for Supply Management has for the past decade conducted the survey.  For more information including a report archive and information on how to participate and/or receive the monthly survey results, see our Marquette ISM Manufacturing Survey page.

Association for Healthcare Resource and Materials Management

Dr. Cotteleer is conducting the National Executive Healthcare Survey on Supply Chain Management for the Association for Healthcare Resource and Materials Management (AHRMM). This survey has been an ongoing project for the Center for Supply Chain Management and investigated the influence of supply chain management on nurse activities organizations as well as developing issues and trends in the industry. The annual survey is also supported by Owens & Minor, the industry’s largest distributor of medical supplies to acute care hospitals. Dr. Cotteleer is also initiating allied research into “inventory management under uncertainty.” Read more on the survey’s most recent results...
