Letter/Welcome from the Director
The development of the Business Career Center in the College of Business Administration and the Graduate School of Management was one of the outcomes from the College’s 2010 – 2012 Strategic Plan. “The Business Career Center will address the challenges of the changing economy, globalization, use of technology in the internship and job search process, the strengthening of our current relationships with recruiters, and expansion of the network of recruiters.”
I also believe the Center has a commitment to our students and their families in providing more than a quality education. We have a commitment to prepare our students in the area of professional development that will assist them in obtaining employment upon graduation as well as skills and experiences that make them a valued employee. Finally, we have a commitment to our alumni to be a resource for continued professional development support.
The goal of the Business Career Center is to:
- Provide Career Development Services to Students and Alumni
- Develop strategic partnership with corporations
- Development of Business Advisory Board
- Increases Alumni Involvement
As the Business Career Center continues to grow and mature, I am open to feedback and support from the College community. Please feel free to contact me with suggestions that will make the College of Business Administration and the Graduate School of Management the best it can be.
