Business Career Center
LEAD Program
Would you like to learn more about the majors and programs offered in the College of Business that will prepare you for a successful business career? Would you like to learn more about networking and business etiquette? Would you like to learn how to develop your leadership skills such as business communication, diversity awareness, ethics, and how to succeed in a global business environment?
The LEAD (Leadership Education and Development) program is designed to help you develop business and leadership skills while preparing you for successful business careers. For each of your first three years in the College of Business Administration, you will complete a one-credit LEAD course covering a variety of applied topics such as professional expectations and standards, leadership skills, teamwork skills, communication skills, diversity awareness, global business orientation, ethical issues in business, and career planning strategies. Frequently, these topics are delivered by successful business executives and young alumni who bring their insights on these critical topics to students in the LEAD program.
Marquette is a leader in providing applied learning programs such as our distinctive LEAD program. The LEAD program provides applied learning and leadership skills that complement the rigorous theoretical training that Marquette business students receive in their required academic courses.
