About Us
The Business Career Center provides professional career preparation and development through a broad array of resources for undergraduate students, graduate students and alumni, leveraging strong connections with organizations seeking employees and interns.
Programs offered by the center include, but are not limited to:
LEAD (Leadership Education and Development)
A three year, one-credit per year program covering topics such as professional expectations, leadership, teamwork, and communication skills, diversity awareness, global business orientation, ethical issues, and career planning strategies.
Internship Programs
The career skills students develop as interns, with the business knowledge and skills acquired in the classroom, provide the foundation for a successful business career.
Mentor Programs
Students interact one-on-one with a business professional in their field to help them explore career options, guide them with their career search, learn the art of networking and much more.
MU Career Manager
This shared resource with the MU Career Services Center provides students easy access to job postings and allows employers to post jobs, view resumes and schedule interviews.
